How to Attach or Detach Work to Procedure Task

How to Attach Work

There are times where veterinary or other procedures are required and directly related to trackwork. For example, bandages or clay may need to be applied to a horse's legs following trackwork, or an administration of anti-inflammatories.

You can schedule such trackwork from the Procedure Schedule, and link them to the procedure item.

Select the relevant horse's scheduled procedure and click the More > Link Work action icon in the far right hand column.

Enter the work. Although the screen looks a little different to the normal Add work window, the fields are the same.

After adding the work, it is linked to the horse's scheduled procedure.

How to Detach Work

Of course, the trackwork also appears in the Schedule > work screen, on the horse profile and in staff task lists. Where possible, the trackwork is clearly shown linked to the day's procedure schedule.

You can detach work by clicking on icon X

After detaching the work, it is unlinked to the horse’s scheduled procedure.

Note: Button Link work appears only for single-horse procedure tasks; it’s not shown for multiple-horse or recurring tasks.
