How to Set Up Reminder for No-Update Alerts for Horses & Owners

Overview

Two settings on the Notifications Settings page help you catch inactivity:

  • No Horse Updates/Media for [X] days  — alerts you when a horse has had no updates or media for that many days.
  • No Owner Updates for [X] days  — alerts you when an owner has had no updates for that many days.

Step-by-step instructions

Step 1  Open Notifications Settings

Select your Avatar in the top-right corner, hover Notifications, then choose Notifications Settings.

Step 2  Set the number of days

Scroll down to find the two fields and enter the number of days you want (for example, 10):

  • No Horse Updates/Media for [X] days
  • No Owner Updates for [X] days

Step 3  Save

Select Save in the top-right. A Your Settings was updated successfully message confirms it.

Where to see the alerts

After saving, horses and owners that have had no recent updates are flagged with an indicator icon — hover it to see the detail:

Owners  — in the Owner list, an icon appears next to the owner. Hovering it shows, for example, “This owner is yet to have a report or media update for …”.

Horses  — in the Horse list, horses with no recent updates or media show the same indicator icon next to their name.

Good to know

  • Set one or both: you can fill in just the horse alert, just the owner alert, or both.
  • Turn an alert off: clear the field (leave it blank) and save to stop that alert.
  • Separate from channel toggles: these day thresholds are independent of the per-event Web / Mobile / Email settings on the same page.
  • No ways to turn on/ off for individual horse/owner
