How to view Racing Calendar data
The Racing Calendar is a new module within the Prism system. Administrators can enable or disable this permission for trainers. Once enabled, trainers can access the Racing Calendar page to view upcoming races. They can click on each venue to see a list of races and their key information, such as name, distance, and form.
The module also allows trainers to add notes for planning their horse(s) into upcoming races.
View Racing Calendar Feed
- A new "Racing Calendar" tab has been added to the Racing page, next to "Race Planning."
- The default view displays data for the current month, filtered by the trainer's state.
- For each date, all daily meetings are shown, categorized by venue status (Nomination/Acceptance/Result) and type (Metro, Provincial, Country, Picnic, Events, and "Jumpouts/Trials" if applicable).
- Each meeting includes information on the venue, state, and type, with a corresponding color for its venue category.
- Users can filter the racing calendar by criteria such as Month, Race Status, State, Name Form, and Distance.
- Navigation allows viewing races by "Today," "Next Month," or "Previous Month" using corresponding buttons. Clicking "Today" highlights the current day of viewing the current month, or returns to the current month if viewing another.
View Meeting Details
To view meeting details in the pop-over, follow these steps:
- Click on a meeting.
- The pop-over will display meeting details, including a list of all races in the selected meeting, ordered by race number in ascending order.
- For each race, the following information will be shown: race name, distance, venue category, race time (if available), and race status.

Click on a race in the Race Meeting pop-over, it will redirect to the race detail page on Racing.com
