I get too many notifications on my mobile and/or in email. How do I manage these?

All users are able to manage how they receive notifications, whether they be mobile app notifications, website notifications or emails. 

To change your notification settings in the web version of Prism:

  1. Click on your Profile Photo at the top right of the page to show your account's menu.


     
  2. Click on Notifications.



  3. This will open up your Notifications settings window:



  4. Under the Web column, select which notifications you would like to receive on your Prism account when you log in via your web browser:



    These notifications will be displayed in the Notifications tab when you log into Prism:



  5. Under the Mobile column, select which notifications will be sent to you mobile phone if you have the mobile app installed:



    These notifications will be displayed on your phone's notification area if you have the Prism app installed.

  6. Under the Email column, select which notifications you would wish to receive via email:



    These notifications will be sent to you by email.

  7. Once you have set your notifications to your liking, scroll to the bottom and click Save.



To change your notification settings via the mobile app:

  1. Once you have logged into the mobile app, tab on More located at the bottom right corner of the app:



  2. Tap on Notification Settings:



  3. Switch notifications you wish to receive on or off by toggling their switches:



  4.  Tap Done to finalise your changes:



The notification settings of the mobile app only change the settings for notifications displayed in your phone's notification area.  These settings do not affect your Web or Email notifications.  To change these, you will need to log into the web version of Prism at https://www.prism.horse/portal/login . 

Notification Types

Below are descriptions of the notifications that you can customise:
  1. Race Nomination - Notifies you when your horse has been nominated for a race
  2. Race Acceptance - Notifies you when your horse has its Race Nomination accepted. 
  3. Race Scratching - Notifies you when your horse has been scratched from a race.
  4. Race Result - Notifies you of your horse's race result.
  5. New Horse Added - Notifies you if your trainer or syndicate has added a new horse to your horse list.
  6. New Photo, Video or Audio Update - Notifies you if your trainer or syndicate has published a new photo of your horse, an audio clip about your horse or a video update about your horse.  
  7. New Horse Report - Notifies you if your trainer or syndicate has published a new report on your horse. 
  8. New Statement - Notifies you if your trainer or syndicate has sent you a billing statement.
  9. Arrival Advice - Notifies when your horse has arrived at your trainer's facility.  
  10. Departure Advice - Notifies you when your horse has departed your trainer's facility.
  11. Mare Service Notification - Notifies you when the mare has been serviced.
  12. Scan Positive Result Notification - Notifies you when the mare has returned a positive scan.
  13. Scan Negative Result Notification - Notifies you when the mare has returned a negative scan
  14. New Foal Notification - Notifies you when the foal has been born.
The notifications are created and sent out by your trainer and/or syndicate.  Your trainer may opt out to deactivate any of the above notifications from their end, or may not send out the notifications to you.  If you think you are missing a notification from your trainer and/or syndicate, please contact your trainer and/or syndicate for assistance.
