I. Accounts tab
We’ve refreshed the Accounts tab with a new interface and flow. This update is designed to give users a clearer view and easier management of balances and outstanding amounts.
1. Manage balance with the new Summary layout
When users open the Accounts tab, a green Summary section appears at the top. This section gives a quick snapshot of the owner’s financial status, including Total Balance, Current Amount, Overdue Amount, and Credit.
- Current Amount: Unpaid invoices that are still within their due date.
- Overdue Amount: Unpaid invoices that have already passed their due date.
- Credit: The available credit and overpayment that can be applied to reduce outstanding amounts.
- Total Balance = Current Amount + Overdue Amount – Credit
2. Make payment for each finance owner account
Clicking the View button next to Total Balance opens a detailed balance list for each finance owner account, including its balances with individual trainers/syndicators. On this screen, users can click the Pay button on each card to make a payment for the corresponding finance owner account.
Alternatively, users can select multiple finance owner accounts and pay them all at once.
Users can also click “Details” on each card to view the statement list for the corresponding finance owner account, where they have the option to pay individual statements separately.
3. Hint text in payment screens
User payments will only be recorded and displayed in the Owner App after trainers or syndicators apply the payments to invoices, which is a manual process. To help users better understand this condition, Prism has added hint text on both the Payment Submitted screen and the Payment History screen.
4. View Current, Remaining, Invoice Due of each statement
In the statement list screen, Prism has updated the card layout to make it easier for users to track the Current, Remaining, and Invoice Due amounts of each statement.
II. Horses tab
1. Optimising Horse listing layout
Prism has redesigned the Horses list to deliver a more streamlined and user-friendly interface, including: removing horse avatar, age, colour, sex, etc.
2. Manage Active, Archived, and Following horses
The Horse list has been reorganized into three tabs. When users click the three-dots icon on each horse card, the available actions will differ depending on the tab:
| Active tab | Archived tab | Following tab |
Description | Horses where the user is an active owner or listed as "other" owner (0% shares in Trainer/Syndicator portal). | Horses where the user is a previous owner, or horses that have been moved to archive from the Active tab. | Horses the user follows in the Owner App or has added to their blackbook. |
Action
| Archive horse
- Moves the horse from the Active tab to the Archived tab in the Owner App.
- Users will continue to receive updates about the horse.
| Unarchive horse
- Available only for horses archived by the owner via the Owner App.
- Moves the horse from the Archived tab back to the Active tab in the Owner App.
Delete horse
- Permanently removes the horse from the Owner Portal on both web and app.
- Users will no longer receive updates for the horse, unless the trainer or syndicator restores access.
- All previous updates for the horse will also be removed from the Owner App.
| Delete horse
- Removes the horse from the Following tab
|
To follow a horse in the Owner App:
- Tap the + floating button in the bottom-right corner of the Horses tab.
- Search for the horse to follow. (Notes: Prism will now only display horses with registered trainers to streamline the horse result list.)
- If the trainer uses the Prism system, a pop-up will appear: “Reason for adding this horse?” with two options:
- I want to follow it
- I own it
Select “I want to follow it.”
The horse will then be added to the Following tab. Users will only be able to view the horse’s Profile and Race details.
Notes: These updates are also applied to the horse list in Trainer Profile
3. Other Updates and Bug Fixes
- In the Statistics section of the Horse Profile, the 2013–2017 season fields have been removed to provide a clearer view.
- Empty state messages in the Racing, Updates, and Media tabs of the Horse Profile have been revised for clearer communication.
- Fixed bugs that could cause the app to crash.
- Improved performance when scrolling to load more horses in the Horses tab.
III. Feed tab
1. Remove Races, Updates, and News from Feed tab
Understanding that the Feed tab can become crowded for users who own many horses, Prism has introduced a new feature that allows users to remove Races, Updates, and News from their Feed. This gives users more control over the information displayed. Removing content from the Feed does not affect its availability in the Horse Profile, so users can always revisit any removed content later.
To remove an item, simply click the three-dots icon next to any card on the Feed then choose "Remove <content>".
2. Thumbnail display update
On the Feed tab, if Updates or Media do not have thumbnails, the trainer’s avatar will be displayed instead of the default placeholder.
3. New layout for Race result và Upcoming race detail pages
Prism has updated the layout of Race Results and Upcoming Race detail pages to present information in a more compact and user-friendly way.
