[New Feature] Breeding & Finance | Automatically charge fees upon completion of Breeding Tasks
Release Date: 24 August 2020
Today we confirm that transactions (fees) will be automatically created upon completion of the following breeding tasks, if those charges are setup in Finance > Rules > Breeding:
- Uterine and Clitoral Swabs;
- PG;
- Ovulation Scan;
- Re-Examine;
- Early / Mid / Late Scans (Scans 1/2/3)
- Foaling;
- Foal Heat Scan.
Please note. The system previously asked you via a pop-up window, whether you would like to automaticaly create transaction fees upon completion of Early Scan, Mid Scan and Late Scan tasks (Scan 1/2/3) if they were setup in Finance > Rules > Breeding. We have now removed this pop-up window.
If the rules are setup in Finance > Rules > Breeding, they will be charged automatically in the same way that Procedure Rules automatically charge Procedure Fees upon completion of procedures.
To setup and maintain these automatic fees, go to
Finance >
Rules >
Breeding.
Importantly, you must ensure the SUPPLIER field is set to ALL SUPPLIERS.
You have the option to apply these fees for All Mares, or only selected Mares (suitable if some Mares are charged an all-inclusive breeding contract rate for the season).
