Enhanced Arrival, Departure and Breeding Notifications

Enhanced Arrival, Departure and Breeding Notifications

07 May 2021 | General Management, Breeding Management, Communications
Semi-automated notifications to owners upon arrival / departure or upon breeding  task completion, were released in 2020. This feature allowed you to establish email templates to easily share key information about a horse's arrival to, or departure from, a location, or about key breeding milestones.

Now you can update those email templates further, automatically including any one or more of the following:
  1. Last 12 months history of Vaccination procedures
  2. Last Farrier task
  3. Last Dentist task
  4. Horse Identification (brands etc)
  5. Last Service (cover) date (if the horse is a broodmare).
To enable this feature...

1. Login under your Prism portal's master account and navigate to Arrival & Departure Notifications, or Breeding Notifications, via your Profile.

2. By default, both Arrival and Departure Notifications are disabled. You may choose to enable either or both Portal (desktop and mobile) Notifications and/or Email Notifications to owners.

3. Click on the Edit action icon next to Arrival Advice, Departure Advice or Breeding Advice, to view and modify the default Email Body of the Notification.

4. You can update the default text and layout of the Email Body template.

5. In the bottom of that window, choose any one or multiple options to automatically insert the relevant information into the email upon sending. If you select at least one of checkboxes, the {Attachment] tag will be automatically be added into the email body, under {Procedurelist} tag.

6. Upon the arrival, departure or breeding notification being sent, the relevant information will be inserted into the email.

7. If you wish, you can further refine this email prior to clicking 'Send'. Reorder the position of the tags by copying and pasting into the position desired. You can also delete any of the tags to prevent that data being inserted into the email upon sending.

8. Click 'Send'. The relevant information included will display in the email to the recipient.
