How to Add a New horse to an Owner

You can add owners to a horse via the horse's profile page.  To save time, you can also add a horse directly in the owner's profile.  
  1. Go to the Owner tab to see your owners list.  Select the owner you wish to update in the list.



  2. Scroll down to the Horse Accessibility section and click on the Add Horse Access button.  



  3. The Edit Horse Ownership window will open.  Here you will be able to edit a horse's ownership.  



  4. Click on the Horse Name dropdown to select the horse you want to add to the owner. 



  5. Input the % share and optional note and then click Add.  



  6. Shares must add to 100%.  Adjust the other owners' shares if needed to ensure the shares' total is 100%.  More information on how to adjust ownership shares can be found here.
  7. Click Save to finish the process.  


  1. The Adjustment Date is the date of Sale. Owners you add will be billed the day after this adjustment date.  For example,  if you wish for the billing to be effective on the 1st of May, you will need to set the Adjustment Date to 30 April.  
  2. If you add a horse to an owner with a share, the horse will be saved in the owner's Horse Accessibility section.
  3. If you add a horse to an owner with 0% share, the horse will be saved in the owner's Other Horses section.



  4. If you want to move horses from the owner's Other Horses section to the Horse Accessibility section, you will need to repeat the above steps and apply a share for the owner.
