Setting up emails to send from your business domain

Setting up emails to send from your business domain

It is important to set your Prism account up to send emails from a registered business domain that you own.

Why is it important?

Using a generic email domain like @gmail.com, @bigpond.com, @yahoo.com, or @xtra.co.nz increases the likelihood of your emails being marked as spam and presents a security risk. To enhance email delivery and safeguard yourself and your clients, you need to register a business domain.

Already own a registered business domain?

Get in contact with the Prism team and let us know:

  1. Your registered business domain
    1. i.e. www.trainer.com
  2. The list of the email address/es you have setup with your registered business domain
    1. i.e. trainer@trainer.com, office@trainer.com, syndication@trainer.com

Once these steps are completed, our team will send through instructions for how to add security to your domain and setup your Prism account to send emails from the addresses you have provided.

Don't own a registered business domain?

No worries, we’re here to help. There are two options available for you:

Option 1: Secure your business domain yourself

  1. Secure your domain now via a Domain Register in Australia or New Zealand

  3. Get in contact with the Prism team and let us know the following:
    1. Your registered business domain
    2. The email address/es you have setup
Option 2: Prism team can secure your business domain on your behalf
