[Improvement] Owner Profile | Display Nett Ownership Score & record User ID
16 September 2019 | Prism Management
To provide more insight into your customers and to help manage horse and breeding registrations, there are a few new fields on the Owner Profile.
Nett Ownership Score
This is effectively a calculation of "equivalent horses owned". For example, below is the Nett Ownership Score for a few common ownership structures of one owner.
- 5% share interest in 3 horses = 0.15
- 5% share interest in 1 horse and 20% share interest in another = 0.25
- 100% of 2 horses, 20% of another horse and 10% of another horse = 2.30
Owner User ID
You can now add and maintain the new Owner User ID field on each owner's profile.
For thoroughbred owners in Australia, Racing Australia is moving towards online transactions and avoiding the need for paper forms. So this allows you to record each owner's Racing Australia myhorseracing.horse User ID.
The New Zealand racing industry regulator and standardbred regulators may move to a similar model in the future, so this field may soon benefit those jurisdictions also.
Breeder ID
You can now
add and maintain the new Breeder ID field on each owner's profile.
For thoroughbred breeders In Australia, this field can be used to record each owner's Australian Stud Book (ASB) ID.
A similar requirement may apply for breeders in the New Zealand breeding industry and standardbred industry.
