Print and scan a Barn, Box or Horse QR Code to select a horse on Prism PLUS App

There are three ways to select a horse on the Prism PLUS Tablet App.
  1. Manually filter and select your desired horse;
  2. Scan a QR Code on either a Barn/Paddock, Box or Horse Card; or
  3. Scan a horse microchip with a bluetooth connected microchip scanner.
This article details how to print and scan a barn, box or horse QR code.


Prism PLUS allows you to print A4 sized cards with QR codes.
  1. Barn/Paddock Cards - scanning a Barn Card will display a list of the Horses that are currently assigned to that Barn/Paddock, and display their Box Numbers;
  2. Box Cards - scanning a Box Card will display the Horse that is currently assigned to that Box;
  3. Horse Cards - scanning a Horse Card will display the Horse in the tablet;

To print a Barn or a Box Cards, login as your Master User account and navigate to Master Config > Barn/Box configuration. \

Click on the 'eye' icon to print a barn or box card by itself.


Or select multiple barns / boxes and click the print button to print multiple.


To print a Horse Card, go to the Horse Profile and click Print Horse Card. You can affix this card to the box that the horse resides in, and move it with the horse when relevant.


Scan a Barn, Box or Horse Card QR Code

Click on the QR Code icon in the top right of the Filter screen. This will activate your tablet camera. Simply position the camera over the relevant QR code.
