ATA PORTAL

ATA PORTAL

Overview

The ATA Hub connects ATA admins with Prism trainers (referred to as "Owners" in the ATA portal) through two main channels:

  1. Public Announcements: Website articles visible to everyone
  2. Private Communications: Stable Updates visible only to ATA members

Key Concept: ATA admins first designate Prism trainers as "owners" in the ATA portal to establish membership. Once set up, ATA admins can publish public content and send private updates to their connected owners (Prism trainers).

For ATA Admins

Purpose: This connects a Prism trainer's account to an owner profile in the ATA portal, enabling you to send Stable Updates directly to them.

Steps:

  1. Open the Owner Profile
  2. Locate the Prism ID field (search box)
  3. Search for and select the Prism Trainer you want to link
  4. Save the record

Once linked, you can communicate directly with this Prism trainer through the ATA Hub.

2. Publish Website Articles

Purpose: Share news, tips, and announcements publicly on your website and the ATA Hub. You can also create member-only content that's visible exclusively to ATA members.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to CMS Web Article
  2. Click Create Article
  3. Fill in article details:
    1. Title
    2. Content
    3. Display settings
  4. (Optional) Check "ATA Members Only" to restrict visibility to ATA members
  5. Click Save

Public articles appear on your website and in the ATA Hub for all users. Member-only articles are visible only to logged-in ATA members.

3. Send Stable Updates to Owners (Prism Trainers)

Purpose: Share private updates, schedules, or important information directly with the Prism trainers (owners) in your network. These updates are only visible to ATA members, not the general public.

Steps:

  1. Go to Stable Updates
  2. Click Create Update
  3. Compose your update
  4. Select which owners (Prism trainers) should receive the notification
  5. Click Send

Stable Updates appear in the Member Comms tab for your selected owners only.

For ATA Members (Prism Trainers)

1. Browse Announcements

Purpose: Stay informed by reading all published website articles, including both public content and member-exclusive articles.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to the Announcement tab
  2. Browse the article list
  3. Click any article title to read the full content
  4. Use the search box to find articles by keyword

You have access to all public articles plus any articles marked as ATA Members Only.

2. View Communications from ATA Admin

Purpose: Check private Stable Updates sent directly to you by your ATA admin—these might include training schedules, personalized advice, or organization-specific news.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to the Member Comms tab
  2. Review your list of Stable Updates
  3. Click any update to read the full message
  4. Use the search box to find specific updates by keyword

Only you and other ATA members selected by the ATA admin can see these updates.

For Non-ATA Members (Prism Trainers Not in Owner List)

View Public Announcements

Purpose: Access general website articles and announcements that ATA admins have made publicly available.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to the Announcement tab
  2. Browse available public articles (articles not marked as member-only)
  3. Click any article to read its content
  4. Use the search box to find articles by keyword
You can only see public articles. Member-only content and Stable Updates are not accessible unless you are added to the ATA admin's owner list.
